Pirate Adventures
The REH Foundation Press is proud to present Pirate Adventures. This publication collects Howard’s piratical yarns that aren’t part of his more famous characters’ collections; no Conan or Solomon Kane tales are herein, but the book does collect the two Black Vulmea stories and a handful of others, including Howard’s rewrite of “The Blue Flame of Vengeance” using a new character, Malachi Grim.
The tales collected herein were not commercial successes for their author, though many of them display the poetic prose and narrative drive that are the earmarks of Howard’s fiction.

The Brownwood Connection
Brownwood, Texas has changed a lot since Robert E. Howard’s time, but traces of the 1920s and ’30s can still be found, if you know where to look. THE BROWNWOOD CONNECTION explores Howard’s relationship with the Texas town, from his high school days to his college experiences and beyond.
Part biography, part travelogue, this volume explores the remnants of Howard’s home-away-from-home with photos — both modern and period — as well as pictures and scans of pertinent documents: college catalogues, yearbooks, report cards and more. Also included are letters written to Howard from his mother, a section on Novalyne Price, items from the CROSS PLAINS REVIEW, and more. And if that wasn’t enough, THE BROWNWOOD CONNECTION also contains the most in-depth look at Howard’s experiences with the railroad ever published. Every known train ride is analyzed. This section also includes photos and scans of schedules, depots, and other pertinent data.

Sentiment: An Olio of Rarer Works
The REH Foundation Press is proud to present Sentiment: An Olio of Rarer Works. This volume is the Howard collector’s dream, containing those hard-to-find stories from various small press publications from the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s. No longer will readers have to seek out copies of Pay Day, Lurid Confessions #1, or The Dark Man #2; all of the Howard content in those volumes, and many more, is included here. Restored to Howard’s typescripts, when available.
Also included are many items seldom seen by collectors. “The Rivals” makes its first appearance outside of a Foundation Newsletter; all three issues of Howard’s amateur press publication, The Right Hook, are presented in their entirety; and many other hard-to-find pieces have finally found a home in Sentiment. For most of these items, this is their first publication in book form. Many of the pieces in this collection are juvenilia.

The Last of the Trunk
The Last of the Trunk. Robert E. Howard generated an enormous volume of written works, around 3.5 million words. In his tiny room in his house in Cross Plains, REH kept a trunk to hold all his output that was still awaiting a sale, as well as works that were rejected, unfinished, something he especially wanted to save, or simply copies of early drafts that he would reuse the back of in typing up another story. At the time of his death, that trunk held literally tens of thousands of pages of material, all hand-typed by REH. In the early 1960s, Glenn Lord obtained the contents of REH’s trunk. He had the duty, pleasure, and challenge of sorting it all out, and to begin shepherding those works into print. Hundreds of stories and poems poured forth, to see print in assorted books, magazines, and fan publications.
